Bamboo Rayon walking socks, built around the seam
Almost every blister starts in the same place: the ridge of stitching across the toes. Your foot swells over the first hour of a walk, the boot doesn't, and that seam becomes the one hard edge inside a soft space. So we knit ours without it. There is no toe seam in these socks at all, not a flatter one, none.
The sole and toe are cushioned where a walking boot presses hardest, and the cuff is elasticated to hold without gripping. You should be able to take these off after a long day and find no ring pressed into your calf.
Why bamboo rayon instead of merino
Merino is the default in walking socks and it insulates beautifully. The trouble is that insulation works in one direction. Bamboo Rayon works in both directions: it moves heat and damp away when you're climbing in the sun, and holds it when you stop at the top.
The honest trade-off: merino wins on sustained wet. If you spend your winters bog-trotting in the Highlands, wool still has the edge. Everywhere short of that, bamboo rayon is the more comfortable choice year-round.

Will these actually stop blisters? Nothing stops every blister: boot fit and lacing matter as much as the sock. What we've removed is the single most common cause, which is seam friction across the toes.
Are they warm enough for winter? For winter walking, yes, with a decent boot. For sustained sub-zero or wet snow, layer or choose wool.
Do they shrink? Not at 30°C (86°F). Avoid the tumble dryer: heat is what shrinks bamboo rayon, not water.

Not men's or women's. One sock, two sizes. Pick by shoe size, not by section, so a household can share a pack.
If you're a USA 8 to 10. You sit in both ranges. Take USA 6–10 for a closer fit, USA 8–13 if you prefer a little more room.
